This is the guy. A guy from New England who developed a passion for food at an early age, a guy who has lead successful kitchens all over the country, and a guy who has been creating unforgettable recipes for decades. This guy is the Executive Chef at Central Florida’s top caterer.
Puff ‘n Stuff Catering has more than 36 years of experience, and that experience is embodied in our Executive Chef, Jason Pepin.
In this role, Chef Jason is an integral part of every event, from the beginning of the planning process, all the way through the day of execution. Everything from a dishwasher to line cook, kitchen supervisor to sous chef, and corporate trainer to head chef, Chef Jason understands every component of the kitchen because he has lived each of them. He has gained the insights to create delicious dishes that you and your guests will savor, while meeting the functional needs of your event.
Chef Jason started his career with the Hard Rock Cafe where he traveled the country training culinary teams during the chaos of new restaurant openings. After years honing his leadership skills, he was able to pursue his first head chef role, and his leap into the catering industry at the Sheraton in Miami, Fla. It is here that he learned how to create menus specifically for banquets, room service and special events.
Not for the faint of heart, off-premise catering can lead even the most experienced chef into unknown territory. But never one to shy away from the impossible, Chef Jason thrives on creating recipes that can withstand the unique challenges of cooking anyway, anytime, while still tasting amazing at the time of service.

Prior to joining the team at Puff ‘n Stuff Catering, Chef Jason worked with large-scale chain and fine dining establishments including Wolfgang Puck, where he specialized in recipe development and menu creation. Even after thousands of dishes, his passion for food is still evident in every bite. Like a master painter, he strategically combines each ingredient’s unique flavor, color and texture to create mini works of art that come together as a single menuoffering. “Food and cooking are the true expression of who I am,” Chef Jason said. “It’s me in my purest and rawest form.”
Leading by example is the foundation in which Chef Jason builds the highest standards for his team and himself to produce exceptional product. Through the inspiration felt for his mentors, he discovered a deep passion for sharing his knowledge. “I love to teach, and teaching plays such an integral role in what a chef does everyday,” Chef Jason states. Whether he is present onsite or cooking in the kitchen, you can trust that his culinary team is trained and prepared to meet the demands of your event.
